On August 6, 2025, the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) met with the National Coalition for Family and the Constitution (NCFC), led by Former Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, to reinforce their shared vision and advance collaborative efforts in the development of a Reproductive Health Education (RHE) curriculum.
The meeting served as a strategic discussion to deepen mutual understanding of NCFCβs educational approach, explore effective pathways for constructive engagement with the Department of Education (DepEd), and establish clear expectations for a principled and productive partnership.
During the session, Former Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno delivered a comprehensive presentation on the policy landscape from 2012 to 2024, providing both historical and legal context for the ongoing discourse surrounding reproductive health education.
A Shared Vision – After the meeting, CEAP reaffirmed its commitment to a shared mission with NCFC: to co-develop a coherent and values-based RHE curriculum.
