May 12, 2026 — The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), through its IMPACT Program (Institutional Mission Partnerships for Advancement, Capacity-building, and Transformation), convened an introductory partnership dialogue between De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (CSB) and Colegio de San Bartolome de Novaliches (CSBN) as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen Catholic educational institutions through collaboration, accompaniment, and institutional development.
The meeting gathered representatives from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB), led by its President, Br. Edmundo L. Fernandez, FSC, Chancellor for Academics Mr. Benhur Ong, and other CSB administrators. Colegio de San Bartolome de Novaliches (CSBN) was represented by School Principal Mr. Paul Polintan, together with the school’s Christian Formation and Senior High School Coordinators. The CEAP National Office was represented by Executive Director Mr. Narcy F. Ador Dionisio, together with members of the Membership Services and Communications Unit (MCU).
The session served as an initial engagement to identify possible areas of partnership and institutional accompaniment aligned with the mission and developmental priorities of the participating schools.
During the dialogue, CEAP presented the priority partnership domains of the IMPACT Program, including Institutional Sustainability, Leadership and Governance, Instructional Quality, Christian Formation, Infrastructure and Technology, and Advocacy and Community Engagement. Participants reflected on the importance of solidarity and shared mission in responding to emerging educational challenges while strengthening Catholic school communities.
Colegio de San Bartolome de Novaliches shared its institutional context and highlighted key developmental priorities, including efforts to strengthen instructional programs, enhance faculty development, and address sustainability concerns in its academic offerings, particularly at the senior high school level. The school likewise emphasized its continuing commitment to evangelization and holistic formation within its community.
In response, DLS-CSB expressed its openness to accompany CSBN through mentoring, resource sharing, faculty development initiatives, and collaborative capacity-building programs. The discussion also explored opportunities for institutional assessment and future site-based engagement to better align support initiatives with the school’s needs.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to sustain collaboration through ongoing communication and future initiatives under the IMPACT Program. The dialogue underscored the value of accompaniment, shared mission, and collective engagement in strengthening Catholic educational institutions and advancing mission-oriented, transformative education for the communities they serve.
