CEAP Board Charts Strategic Directions and Reviews Key Initiatives for 2026

The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) Board of Trustees (BOT) convened its Third Quarter Meeting at the Seda Manila Bay. Presided over by CEAP President Fr. Karel S. San Juan, SJ, the session gathered Board members along with commission and committee chairpersons to deliberate on significant developments and strategic directions for Catholic education nationwide.
The Board reviewed the conduct of the 2025 Regional Assemblies and the CEAP National Convention, and also considered the groundwork for the 2026 National Convention. Fr. San Juan presented the association’s proposed directions for 2026, with emphasis on strengthening organizational structures and enhancing CEAP’s collective response to current social and educational challenges.
 
Br. Edmundo L. Fernandez, FSC, Corporate Treasurer, delivered comprehensive financial updates, including the status of CEAP’s fund investments and overall fiscal performance. Meanwhile, CEAP Executive Director Mr. Narcy F. Ador Dionisio reported on ongoing key initiatives and upcoming activities, such as expanded regional support, online learning sessions addressing critical educational and socio-civic themes, capacity-building programs for teachers, collaborative efforts with PEAC and PAASCU, the ISO 9001:2015 QMS implementation project, and the association’s transition to an improved data management system, among others.
 
The Board likewise examined several priority programs, including the strengthening of the Calamity Fund Assistance for member-schools, the Educational Partnerships Towards Innovation and Impact Program, updates on the Certificate Program in Religious Education, continued engagement with educational partners, and progress on the implementation of the Philippine Catholic Schools Standards for Basic Education.
 
The meeting concluded with a celebration in honor of the birthdays of several Board members, followed by a modest Christmas gathering and fellowship dinner.
CEAP reaffirms its commitment to solidarity, transformative education, and advocacy, continuously journeying with its member-schools in service of the Filipino learner and the broader society.
