February 20, 2026- The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) has officially begun preparations for its highly anticipated 2026 National Convention with the first meeting of the Steering Committee held at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.
The meeting, attended by CEAP National Secretariat Executive Director, unit officers, and partner institutions, marked the beginning of collaborative planning for the landmark gathering of Catholic educators nationwide.
CEAP Executive Director Mr. Narcy F. Ador Dionisio presented the National Convention recommendations, setting the tone for the committee’s work. Initial discussions focused on program design, venue arrangements, and other logistical preparations. The committee also conducted an ocular visit of the plenary rooms at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel to assess facilities for the upcoming event.
The Steering Committee is composed of representatives from partner institutions in Region VII, led by Fr. Eduardo S. Celiz Jr., OAR, Region VII Trustee and President of the University of San Jose–Recoletos. The committee was brought together by the CEAP National Secretariat units and is further guided by the Advocacy and Public Engagement Unit, which also heads the Program Implementation Committee.
