CEAP Leads Collaboration with Schools and SLB on Anti-Corruption Advocacy

November 3 — In response to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) call for moral renewal and collective action against corruption, the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) spearheaded a coordination meeting with Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan (SLB) and several Catholic universities and schools to strengthen collaboration on civic engagement and anti-corruption initiatives.

Representatives from Ateneo de Manila University, Ateneo de Davao University, Ateneo de Zamboanga University, De La Salle Philippines, De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, University of St. La Salle, Infant Jesus Academy Marikina, and Miriam College joined the discussion, sharing updates on their initiatives for integrity and good governance. These include student formation programs, campus discussions, symbolic actions such as prayer gatherings and “Wear White Wednesdays,” as well as other community-based efforts that promote honesty and accountability.

In light of the upcoming “Balik Edsa sa Nobyembre Trenta” mobilization on November 30, 2025, CEAP emphasized the importance of collective and continuing engagement to intensify the national call against corruption and uphold transparency and good governance.

Affirming the CBCP’s appeal for renewed vigilance and moral integrity in public life, CEAP reiterated its commitment to forming faith-inspired communities that stand for truth, accountability, and the common good—working closely with SLB and Catholic schools nationwide to translate these values into concrete action.
