July 15, 2026 – The Membership and Awards Committee (MAC) of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) convened to evaluate nominees for the association’s major awards in preparation for the 2026 CEAP National Convention awarding ceremonies.
Chaired by Br. Joaquin Severino S. Martinez, FSC, the meeting gathered Mr. Narcy F. Ador Dionisio, CEAP Executive Director; Fr. Guillrey Anthony M. Andal, SJ; Dr. Joselito Gutierrez (representing Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM); S. Ma. Fe D. Gerodias, RVM; Mr. Jay A. Velez; and members of the Membership Services and Communications Unit.
The committee evaluated nominees for CEAP’s major recognitions: the Pro Deo et Patria Award, CEAP’s highest honor for outstanding contributions to education in service of God and country; the Catholic School Heroes Award, highlighting the vital role of teachers, staff, and students in strengthening Catholic education; and the Small Mission Schools Award, honoring schools that continue to serve marginalized communities despite financial and infrastructure challenges. The committee agreed that its recommendations will be forwarded to the Board of Trustees (BOT) for approval and finalization.
During the meeting, the list of 2026 Jubilarian schools celebrating milestone anniversaries was presented, along with the list of new member-schools that completed requirements for CEAP membership and will be formally recognized at the convention.
These recognitions will be conferred during the 2026 CEAP National Convention, continuing CEAP’s tradition of honoring excellence, service, and faith in Catholic education.
