October 22, 2025 — The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) convened key representatives to review the proposed Education Pathways Act, which seeks to amend Republic Act No. 10533, the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013.
Present during the discussion were CEAP Executive Director Mr. Narcy F. Ador Dionisio; National Advocacy Commission Chairperson Br. Manuel de Leon, FMS; National and Technical Vocational Education Commission Fr. Onofre Inocencio, SDB; Region 10 Trustee Mr. Jay Velez; and Legal Counsel Atty. Sabino Padilla IV.
The meeting emphasized the need to thoroughly study the bill’s provisions to ensure that any legislative changes truly strengthen, rather than disrupt, the goals of the Senior High School (SHS) Program.
CEAP reaffirmed its commitment to advocate for reforms that uphold quality, access, and the holistic formation of learners.
