The Center for Ignatian Spirituality–Philippines (CIS) conducted its Training for Facilitators in Discernment in Common (DIC) on August 1–2 and August 8–9, 2026 at the Cardinal Sin Center, Loyola School of Theology, Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City.
Representing the CEAP were Fr. Romulo C. Felix, PhD, CEAP Region II Trustee and Superintendent of the Diocese of Bayombong Educational System, and Sr. Luzviminda G. Mojica, FdCC, CEAP Region IV Trustee, Superintendent of Canossian Daughters of Charity Schools, and School Directress of The Canossa School.
During the Eucharistic Celebration that opened the training on August 1, participants were reminded that Discernment in Common is more than a method; it is a spirituality that calls for interior freedom, honest listening, and openness to God’s will. As reflected in the homily, true discernment begins when individuals are willing to let go of personal preferences and seek God’s greater purpose together.
The participation of CEAP leaders underscores the association’s continuing commitment to forming Catholic educators and leaders who foster prayerful discernment, collaborative decision-making, and mission-driven service in their communities.
