NCFC Holds Final Quarter Meeting, Advances Plans for Expanded Formation Initiatives

April 21, 2026 – The National Christian Formation Commission (NCFC) held its Final Quarter Commission Meeting for School Year 2025–2026 on April 21, 2026, via an online platform, to set priorities and strengthen its mission of holistic Christian formation in Catholic schools.

The meeting was chaired by Sr. Luzviminda Mojica, along with commission members Fr. Norman Melchor R. Peña Jr., SSP, Ms. Aida Magsipoc, Mr. Jose Paolo Santos, Ms. Marissa Belo, and Mr. Narcy F. Ador Dionisio, CEAP Executive Director. The CEAP Membership Services and Communications Unit spearheaded the session.

Among the key agenda items was the expansion of the Commission through the addition of new members. The group underscored the importance of ensuring broader representation and strengthening leadership capacity to effectively support the Commission’s growing programs and initiatives.

A major focus of the meeting was the planning of the 2026 NCFC Conference, envisioned as a formation caravan that will engage families, students, teachers, and the wider school community. The conference aims to address key areas such as Campus Ministry, Social Action, and Christian Formation, while also introducing Digital Evangelization as an additional focus area. This initiative reflects NCFC’s commitment to responding to the evolving landscape of evangelization, particularly in engaging communities through digital platforms.

Another plan to expand the Commission’s reach is to spearhead a series of special learning sessions designed to support schools in fostering faith formation, community engagement, and holistic development.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment among members to advance dynamic, inclusive, and mission-driven programs that respond to the needs of Catholic education today.
